WEBMar 1, 2017 · The 2013-2014 MacBook Air models originally shipped with 2x lanes PCIe 2.0 AHCI SSD (speed ~700MB/s). They support up to 4TB NVMe SSDs if their BootRom is at least MBA61. 0103.B00, and will make them run at PCIe 2.0 speed with up to 4x lanes. They don't support natively hibernation on NVMe SSD, but workarounds exist.

WEBJun 30, 2023 · It fully depends on one’s needs, but the 15 Air is cheaper, lighter and completely silent. Compared to the 16 Pro it’s much cheaper and much lighter. Against the 14 it’s only slightly lighter but has a bigger screen. And it’s still much cheaper for a similar spec (although the upgraded Pro’s have 32GB vs 24GB.)

WEBNov 22, 2023 · With MacBook Pro 16" notebooks, I can get an m1 Max with 2 TB of disk, or an M1 plane jane with 1 TB and save lots, or an M3 Pro with 1 TB and that is the most expensive. Can I get away with 512 GB of disk space, and use external drives? It seems to me that Apple overcharges for its internal drives - one saves a lot with a 512 GB drive.
