Djokovic, featuring in his first tournament since his shock US Open exit, was largely untroubled in a 6-3 6-2 win against the Russian on Wednesday

The four-time Shanghai Masters champion, Novak Djokovic, is through to his tenth quarter-final from as many trips to this event. The Serb faced Roman Safiullin in the fourth round and scored a 6-3, 6-2 victory in an hour and 13 minutes, maintaining his perfect record against the Russian.
